A recently discovered, Replacement Note. Unlisted in Charlton. BCS certified and graded Fine-15. Number 25 in ink at left on front. Believed to be Unique. (Cataloguer's Note: Placing an estimate on a discovery note is highly difficult, if not impossible.

On June 28 2014, this banknote sold for $5,664 CAD and was described as:

Fine+. Two tiny 1/8" tears at lower left margin. The third example and the 'Finest' surviving example known.

*RD8531999Auction PCGS - F-12 Lawson-Bouey

This banknote sold at Moore's Winter Toronto Auction Sale on February 21, 2013 for $5,015 CAD. It was described as:

Minor small edge splits. One of two known examples with the rare *RD replacement prefix. Until recently, the *RD replacement note was unknown. The example is the second discovered note, and in the approximate same condition as the original discovery note.
