2002 colourized loonie
A few years ago I received this loonie in some loose change. I had never (or since) seen one like it. I contacted the RCM who said it was not one of there's. I finally contacted this forum who gave me a lead on Ebay. The seller had only seen one and he didn't know where it came from. A local coin de...

Green mold on copper coims
Hi, I was recently given $13 of relatively new cents (1960's to 2011). Most of them have green mold spots or major cases of the copper mold.
How do I get rid (clean up) this contamination. Does anyone have a home brew that will
stop the deterioration of the coins.
Thanx in advance
David

C$10 2001 Mismatched serial number
Hi, I have this C$10 note in my collection and I have tried looking it up in some banknote reference books at the local library to no avail. I would appreciate any comments as to whether I have a real item or if the note as been doctored. Thanks David http://www.coinsandcanada.com/forum/class/test/1...

Also contacted RCM, waited 30 minutes to talk to a person and then got transferred and waited some more. RCM people were nice, but no help. They suggested contacting more than one coin deal...

Thanks for the modified comment, I can see the reeds being 'machined or ground off', but how do you make the edge thicker?

Newbie to this site.... attaching picture to message?
I wrote a post about a dime I have and tried to attach a jpeg picture. I must be missing
something, because I failed to do so.
Thanx in advance, can someone give me a step by step 'how to' attach the picture(s).

1975 dime - broadstrike ?
Found a 1975 Canada dime in my change. I noticed it because of it's thickness. The edge is 1.88 mm thick compared to the normal 1.16 mm, diameter 17.03 mm. There are no reeds on the edge. The beads on both sides disappear, coin struck slightly off center. I tried to find similar to get a approximate...
