Re: pennies, dimes, nickels and a few moderns

You should get an album for those cents and start collecting them. I have a review
I made url]http://realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=27289&hilit=+Review[/url] If you ever get down to the United States you can buy Canadian pennies and nickels from coin shops for less than face.

Also have a blank 1 cent planchet. It has a rim but nothing else. Comments? The US mint gives out blanks on the tour of the mint. See-- http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1876&p=16304&hilit=school+mint#p16304 http://www.realcent.org/download/file.php?id=111

Re: 1972 Oversized Nickel

My only guess is that this nickel was between two pieces of wood and then given a really good sized force was applied pushing or "squishing" the coin outwards. Just got off work in Oregon and got to blocks of wood a sledge hammer and a 1972 Canadian nickel and a good swing and no change t...

Re: 1972 Oversized Nickel

Thanks for letting me help you post your photos. Can you post a weight of the coin and can you pick it up with a magnet? Is it round looks like it could be oval. https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/706/32345734095_fbfd660307_o.jpg fullsizeoutput_18f3 by Karen , on Flickr https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/258/...
