I have another 20.00 bill with serial alt8800088, would that be a radar, a rotator or a radar/rotator? Could you recommend a good book source for bill collectors?

Its a good thing numbers are a universal lanuage, I actually understood some of that. I'll have to get my kids to translate the rest for me. I do have a couple of radars I have found over the years, but I haven't really researched that area of collecting.

The misalignement is not as pronounced as your example.

Yes, it looks like that, the number out of line is third from the end on the right serial number, the bill is a $20.00, 2004 issue.

Hello to all 17 of us, I usually collect coins but habitually scan bills for any obvious differences. I came across a bill with one number on one half of the serial number out of alignment with the rest of the numbers. Is this worth hanging onto or should I send it back out into circulation? Thanks ...
