The 1 cent rolls go back to the first year of issue 1920 but no key dates available. The 5 cents rolls are mainly 1960's and...

Re: Info starting in coin buying?

Like Bill said, better be informed before buying. You are interested in silver and gold and there are many fakes out there. Copies of Mint bullion bars, coins etc. I would stick to reputable dealers. I personnaly only buy gold directly from the Mint. Welcome to our wonderfull hobby and enjoy.

Re: I'm looking for info on City of Hamilton 125 aniver. dol

What you have is a TRADE dollar. Many towns issue them to commemorate important dates in their history. Most time, 100,125 and 150 th anniversary. These dollars are minted using nickel but a few are available in silver and gold. The town merchants accept them as legal tender for a set period during ...

Re: Help on a bulk lot price

I love bulk lots as well,if your friend wants to get rid of it,he need to at least count the rolls. Pictures of a typical roll would also help juge the content and establish a fair price. If I was in the area I would certainly drop in to have a look and make and offer. For exemple,a 1930 and 31 are 5...

Re: What would you pay for an MS64 1930 penny

Assuming you are talking about a canadian small cent, trend is $900 for MS-64RD (80% red). If that coin is certified ICCS or CCCS,I would offer 75% after looking at it as we pay for the coin, not the holder. If you do not have access to the coin, make sure the seller accepts return and will refund your...
