1935 $100 French

I have a 1935 $100 French note with serial number F00540. This seems low to me but the book only seems to give a premium for 500 and under while other notes have a premium for 999 and under. The book does say - even in the section for 1935 - that any note under 1000 usually have a premium. any thoug...

Re: $5 1972 RS

I agree you should have it graded by a third party. Notes with that value are easier to sell if they are professionally graded. That is a nice note for sure.

Use the line with no prefix. This matches the prices that I have in my Charlton Catalogue.

1938 dominion Bank $10 note UNC

Hi all. I recently acquired this beautiful note but I don't have a chartered bank catalogue to get a price on it. It is in AU/UNC condition. Does anyone have a price guide so I can get an idea of the price range for this note in AU or UNC please? http://www.coinsandcanada.com/forum/class/test/photo_...

1973 $1 print error?

I recently acquired this note and it appears to have a print error on it. It seems as if the ink smeared. Is this the case? Does this make it any more valuable? The note in UNC. Thanks for your input

Calgary coin show

so I went to the show this weekend and this was my first time at a coin show. It was a very good learning experience. I also got to meet Bushman74 as well and bought a few things from him. What did I learn? 1. Be patient! There is a lot to go through. 2. Make sure you know your prices. There was som...

Sheets of 40 $2 notes

I have a few questions about a few sheets of $2 notes I recently acquired. First off the serial numbers for 2 sheets start with BBU and the other with EGT. Do either of these make a difference in the value? The next thing is the fact that the 2 sheets that start with BBU are sequential to each other...

Re: 1929 high 9

I got the coin the other day and just got around to taking a photo. Here it is cropped in tight and now I am certain it is a high 9. Thoughts?

1962 Guitar

I recently purchased a 1962 ICCS MS-65 "harp" that is acutally the guitar variety. I got it for $35US. Now the question I have is this. Why do I see some of these ICCS graded coins listed as harp when they are actually the guitar version? I do see some actually listed as guitar as well so ...

Re: 1929 high 9

Yes I did have a look there but just wanted to be sure. I got that off eBay for $12 and it appears to be between a vg8-f15 so I think I did ok on it. I'll post a pic of it once I receive it. Thanks for looking.

Does this appear to be a 1929 high 9? It looks that way to me. Just wanting others opinions.

Thanks
