Re: 1973 $1 with unique serial

If it is in uncirculated condition, probably worth $2.00.
If it has been circulated, then only worth face value.
For that serial number to be worth anything, it would have to be all 4's.

Re: 2001 10 dollar note with folding error.

Nice Fold and Cut error. Hard to put a value on it as these are all one of a kind, but the fold would devalue it a bit. Maybe someone who collects error currency can give an idea on what they would pay for something like this. If I had to guess, I would say around $200.00, but I may be way out. Woul...

Re: 2017 SILVER DOLLAR 150TH ANNIVERSARY ERROR

Mornin' GMS- I doubt what you have is a variety. To be a variety, there would have to be an error in the working die in which case there would be thousands just like yours out there. Without seeing it, it is probably some sort of minor error such as a strike through. Would need pictures to be sure t...

Re: 1950 Canada Silver Dollar

Hi COINSandWine- I would also like to hear some other opinions as I'm sure there are some out there. I don't think anyone can say for sure as even the RCM does not recognise PL Coins so there would be no help from them. Also Charlton does not start listing PL Dollars until 1953, so there is another ...

Re: 1950 Canada Silver Dollar

To the best of my knowledge- There are two different schools of thought on a 1950 PL. Officially in 1949 & 50, the RCM produced a Business strike, Specimen Dollar and a BU Dollar for collectors. In 1951 they started minting PL coins. Unofficially there are some TPG's who believe that PL Dollars ...

Re: 1954 Canadian Dollar

spies- You should really put this question on its own post so that we don't have two different conversations going on here. I will answer your question once you do that. Thanks. ginalota- There were 40 million bills printed in that series so even in CH UNC, it would still only be worth around 4 or 5...

Moderate overall wear and laurel leaves too worn for higher grade.

Re: 100 notes

I would spend now.
The problem with holding on to them is that the rate
of inflation will probably surpass whatever premium
there would be so you would technically be losing money.

I agree with bushman.
Value about $2.00 plus whatever premium someone
might be willing to pay for the minor printing error

Re: Canada $ 100 Note interesting number

That is known as a 4 digit cycle note.
You didn't specify what series or condition the note is
but if it is a new note in uncirculated condition, it
might be worth around $115.00.
There are 9900 such notes in every prefix series so they are not rare.

Re: Help me identify my $1 Canadian bank notes

There isn't too much of a premium for consecutive numbers in that series but look for
Number EAH 8300038. That would be a three digit radar note which might be worth around $15.00.

Re: 1954 devil face radar note

First of all, It's not a radar note.
Secondly, It's hard to grade a note from a picture,
but from what I see, I would say it is some where between
Fine and Extra Fine.
As there was 10 million printed with that prefix (CA),
the value would probably be between $10-$15.00.
