Re: 1954 $1 Misprint

I have to agree with Bill.
First of all, it is not a Devils face.
Not only does the paper not look correct, but why is it faded
so much. You can hardly see the Serial Number.
I would want to see it certified before saying it is genuine.

Re: Where can I sell my $100 1976 Olympic Gold Coin?

That might be a hard sell as it is only 14k gold.
You don't say where you live but if you are in Canada,
you might try kijiji. A dealer probably wouldn't offer
much more than spot.

Re: 1954 $1 Bill Value

First of all, your first note is a 1967, not a 1954. It has a value of about $2.00.
Your second note is a 1954 modified portrait and also is worth about $2.00.
Your third note is a 1973 and only worth face value.
Hope this helps.

That is a 1967 Dollar.
10 million printed in that series, value about $2.00

(Why are the pictures in your postings upside down)

Re: $1 1967

That is a 1954 Dollar, not a 1967.
As there were 50 million printed in that series,
the value would be about $2.00.

There are over 50 different prefixes.
Is there any one in particular you want to know about?

Re: 1949 50¢

Can you show a photo of the whole date?
There are something like 46 varieties of the 1949 50c.

Re: Can't find another like it! Any insight appreciated!

It's not a real RCM coin that's why it hasn't been altered. On the Obverse, the RCM Logo is missing below the Queen and on the Obverse, the lettering is in the wrong location for it to be a genuine quarter. Maybe it was made as a Souvenir Coin with the intention of a sticker or coloured imprint to g...

Re: 1953 NSF SD?? LG D?? Mule???

There is no NSF Small Date.
The NSF only came with the Large Date.
The SF only came with the Small Date.
Also there were no Mint Sets isued in 1953.

Re: 1963 Dollar

Are you going to return it then?
Don't forget, the 1963 Dollar is silver and the 1968 is nickel.
The 1968 unless in high a MS grade is only worth a couple of dollars at most.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for it.

Re: Two sets of sequenticial 1 dollar 1973 bills

Hi Grant- Welcome to the Coins and Canada website. You say the four notes you have are graded GUNC. I take it then they have been certified. To answer your questions, the OS Prefix notes have a book value of $4.00 each in GUNC. As far as sequential notes , on modern notes there is very little if any...

Re: newbie from NB

First of all, welcome to the Forum. To answer some of your questions, unless it is a rare coin, condition means everything in regards to the value. If most of your newer silver coins are worn, they would only be worth bullion value. As far as your "special" coins, your 1990 bare belly nick...
