Re: 1892 CC Morgan

Just some marks that have occurred after the coin was minted.
Dollar looks to be well circulated so could be from anything.
Certainly no way letters were added during the minting process.
Sometimes your mind plays tricks and you see what you want to see.

Re: 1909 Canadian five cent coin

Pictures aren't the sharpest for grading
but I will say Au-50.
It is the Round Leaves variety.
Still a nice coin.

Re: a good view

Hi Kevin- Welcome to the world of coin collecting. I would suggest buying a Charlton Catalogue of Canadian Coins Volume 1. It contains pictures of the different varieties of Victorian coins plus lots of other useful information. Feel free to ask any questions you may have as there is someone here wh...

Re: 2004P 10 cent

Never seen that before. Looks like the nickel and copper layers have been peeled off somehow exposing the steel core, thus the lighter weight. The rims look higher so it is possible that it was an early stage dryer coin which would account for the smaller diameter. This is just an observation on my ...

I would say VF20 Details.
With those scratches, I would say it's
only value would be as a hole filler.

Re: 1964 Kennedy half dollar.

I think I may have figured out what is driving you crazy. Your wondering if that is a 1964 Kennedy SMS. The answer is no. It is a circulation strike. There were less than 50 SMS coins minted and none of them had a Denver mintmark such as yours has. I'm certainly no expert on Kennedy's but I am prett...

Thanks for the pics but you haven't specified
what is supposed to be driving you crazy.
At a quick glance the Kennedy looks normal.

Re: 1964 Kennedy half dollar.

My advice would be to post a photo of the Obverse and Reverse
then point out your area of concern.
Not quite sure what your referring to.

Re: 5 cents 1944 Tombac

I can't understand all the furor over this coin.
To me it is a nickel struck on a wrong planchet.
Certainly not worth anywhere near what they are asking.

Between 1941 & 1949, the last two digits were manually punched.
In 1951 and 1952, the last digit was manually punched.

Re: Question regarding $1 Bill (regarding Series)

No extra value.
They are part of what is known as the two letter series
and with over 1.8 Billion printed, was the most common
of all the prefixes.
Unless the are in CU condition, there value is one dollar.
