ICCS certification numbers

how the "Certification No." (like XAV 311) are chosen? two letters means older cert. but other than that? is it completly random or it is linked to the customer order or it is linked to the current date/year or it is linked to the denomination.

yes. date bought, price bought, personal grade, certified grade, certified number, error, charlton #, others

All in a pivot table to be able to know how many, how much, paid price vs current value, $ spent by month or year

A well-done spreasheet is sufficient for inventory. For most of my coins I use Mylar flip cardboard with BCW pocket album pages.
