the coin is made of Alloy: 80% silver, 20% copper.
how come silver and copper corrode or create rust?
is it because they put other Alloy?

I saw a 1 dollar 1954 with a prefix of *A/A with the signature of J.R. Beattie & L.Rasminsky . I saw in this site, 1 dollar 1954 , Beattie-Coyne or Coyne-Towers with the prefix of *A/A ? But not with J.R. Beattie & L.Rasminsky signature Does it worth the same? Thank you very much m
