Thanks for your input Bushman, I was thinking that the slight wear around the eyelid and ear and the amount of marking on the surface of the 5 cent would lower it's grade.
I agree the die clash is very faint and only partially there on the 1 cent.

Hi Bill, Thanks again for your feedback. It's hard to see the die clash in the photo I took but it's the same as the example on this website just fainter. I also have these two Canadian coins. I think the 1 cent coin has the die clash error on the reverse.
