Re: Is NGC better than ICCS

I find NGC is the WORST grading company out there.........nothing I have seen has been close to accurate, based on Canadian Charlton standards. The BEST of them all has been close but I give the edge to ICCS over PCGS based on our standards. I do like that the high value coins are slabbed by PCGS th...

Re: *BM binary 1 Dollar Bank Note

Nice note, is a replacement (*) note and a binary note. Looks like I can see the face plate number, so it is *B/M w/FPN and is Charlton #BC-37bA-i.

I have never used the Coins and Canada registry, but have used the CPMS (Canadian Paper Money Society) registry for some of my notes.

Re: 2021 50 Cent Anniversary Rolls availability?

They sold out before the public could even order any and most coin stores and post offices are sold out as well. The only place I was able to get singles and a roll was on Facebook in some of the coin groups there. Those are getting few and far between now also. I have seen these rolls being offered...

Great coins for a beginner and starting a collection, if you are not going to collect, maybe donate them to a kid's coin club where some young numismatists can enjoy !!!

Re: Some concerns about an online auction. Overthinking this?

I don't touch NGC at all, i used to buy the nicer ones and break them out of their holders and get re-graded, but not worth the hassle and I did not want to support such terrible graders..........

Re: Possibly liquidating 45+ years of stock from store.

First off, very sorry to hear of your dad's passing, condolences to you and your family. Darn, if it wasn't for this Covid thing, I might have packed up and moved to Langley to open a coin store, wow !!! It sounds like you want a fast sale and get rid of the whole lot for as much as you can get, so ...

Re: Looking to sell some old coins

Unfortunately nothing with any value for resale, but could be a great start for a kid to get into collecting coins !!! Donate to your local kid's coin club or a relative/friend's child.
