Re: 1937 CAD Bank Notes for Sale
I'm easily confused but I think the bank notes you showed us are still legal tender, they could be used any where to make a purchase. Lots of places may not want to except them but by the law of the land could be made to. Sad that they were turned over to bank and unless a bank employee gets them in...

Re: 1937 CAD Bank Notes for Sale
Not sure what you mean, these notes are all still legal notes , not all paper money as lost legal tender status. you can take them to a bank and deposit them in your account or trade for modern notes. with the writing on some of the notes and poor condition the value over face is not great but some ...

Re: Sequential $5 bills- changeover 2008-2009
Not sure what your meaning, I'm not aware of a transition in that time frame . Would be interested in pictures or more of a explanation of what you mean. Are you refering to the change in that note from the 2002 issue to the 2006 Issue.

Re: 1935 un-used silver dollar is this an error and what is the value?
I'm not a expert here but I think you need to take into consideration the JOP counter stamp to value this coin. Maybe a picture of the reverse . but this may be a good learning point to a new collector, You need to learn the grade of a coin yourself and don't believe what others say. I don't buy on ...

Jay , Are you sure you are looking at the EAX note with the correct signature. I think beachcow is close in value with a Crow -Bouey .
A Lawson - Bouey note has a much higher value.
A Lawson - Bouey note has a much higher value.

Re: Canada 1973 $1
As coinguy indicated the next 4x10 sheet printed would all end in 36 then the next in 37, Each of these sheets are stacked one on top of the other untill there are 100 sheets. It is then that the notes are cut into individual notes with a very large cutting machine cutting all 100 sheets at the same...

Re: Collection to evaluate or sale.
I hope you get more input on this but here is my idea of the value you might look at. The 25cent Shin plaster in that condition will probaly sell for between $10 and $15 dollars. The 1973 notes are very common but may bring between about $4 each as most often note that stay in Sequence like that are...

Re: Value of 1954 $1000 Devil's face bill
in my opinion you should always be able to reclaim face value from the Bank of Canada even after their removal as legal tender and it will always have a collector value higher then face value so if you decide you cant afford to keep it you should try and find a sale for it with a collector rather th...

I hope you get more replies to this question in case I'm wrong but i believe your bank notes will always hold face vale when turned into a Bank , they will no longer be able to be use any where else.
