Alberta 1936 $1 Prosperity Certificate banknote.

How many of you have ever seen one of those? Is it listed in any of the major banknote catalogues at all? I know full well that it isn't even listed, let alone, priced,in the 'Standard Catalog of World Paper Money' (or 'Pick',as it is commonly known as in the numismatic trade). You can find one depict...

Kevin, Those are very nice coins that you've posted up.Have you thought about building a gallery, just like this one here; m ? You can post up photos of your coins & banknotes from both Canada & other countries. It would be nice to see what this year's Canadian commemoratives look like. Aidan.

Lightw4re,
How do you identify the current Canadian replacement notes? Is a star still used to identify them like on the older issues, such as the 1954-dated issues & the 1954 'Devil's Head' issue?

It is my only chartered bank note from anywhere in Canada.

British Commonwealth numismatic sections.

Lightw4re, Have you thought about having sections titled 'British Commonwealth Banknotes','British Commonwealth Coins',& 'British Commonwealth Traders' Currency Tokens'? The interest in these has grown a lot in the past 30 years, especially since the late Jerome Remick published his British Commo...
