I never could figure out why they put a hole for the 22 plain since it’s an error coin.Also you can make one with a Dremel and grind the “D” off.Have you looked at the prices of what a 22 plain goes for it’s right up there with the 1909 S VDB.

The "P" is not a mintmark ... it means "plated" construction. A big difference is we do not have an alloy recovery program, so we are able to acquire those coins at banks.

Have you tried a coin store in the US. My local coin shop has plenty of Canadian coins and they sell at a .8 of face and then an extra .8 for the exchange rate.
