Very few were made..
edit:
Few were circulated... most that were made ended up hitting the melting pot..
if you scroll down on this section there's a question on the 1921 5c .... Bill answers the question for both the 5c and the 50c very well.

Re: Mint Bags & Expectations
My opinion on "unsearched rolls" is met with a large amount of skeptisism ... I would expect the same for and bag.. This is my opinion... Still give each a good look over.. but look for ones that will grade 65 or higher. As you're scrutinizing the grade some of the errors will pop if they'...

Could you give us all the specs in detail please...
Weight/mass, Diameter and perhaps a pic next to another nickel dollar would be helpful..

LIghtwire: I think there's two different coins being discussed here..... although one could argue the answer would most likely be the same.... In one thread you see a picture of one whole coin and a partial of a coin to the right.... in the other thread you see a picture of one whole coin and a part...

Re: Are there many who only collect certified coins?
Okay so you just heard from one of the utmost experts in vicky large cents... I'm more of a layman... want to say this.. #1) All the top collections that I know of are in PCGS slabs... seems like the people that really like the high end coins really like PCGS. #2) My collection is made of of mostly ...

Re: would you call this a uncirculated coin in this conditi
For me this is a tough one... looking at the piece I don't see any wear even on the high points.. But it's clear to see this coin doesn't have any luster anymore.......... So either that's a coin that's somehow toned over in what I can only say is unappealing manner, or what I suspect is that this c...

Re: newfoundland 1 cent
Newfie coinage is definitely desirable.
If you got 900 small cents for $40 bucks you did well! If they're all UNC's.. that's a very nice score indeed! Congrats!

Re: $5 Canadian EYE BROW Piercing ??
could be a number of things.. but if it were to be a true error it would be a small obstruction during the inking process....
Inspect the note very carefully for any signs of damage... if there's any fibers disturbed than it's probably just damage.. if not.. then a small ink error

Re: 1973 Canadian One Dollar Bills, Special Serial Number?
The note that is pictured above is a standard note with the prefix AA... In the "multicoloured" series for $1 notes, replacements either had asterisk "*". So the valuable notes in question would have a serial number like: *AA7745406.... Unfortunately your note does not have the a...

Re: Professional Coin Grading
Iccs is pretty good with Canadian material and once a year has a special for around $8 per coin. Pcgs come highly recommended I Have never used them but I like their holders more than iccs, and they have a registry set feature. Personally I don't consider getting a coin graded unless I am thinking o...

You will have to forgive me Bill... after a bit of digging on CCF I found one thread where it was bosox that replied saying the P.E.I. cent was his.. course I can't find the link to the picture or the PCGS site.. I don't know why but I just LOVE the P.E.I penny and have a bunch of them... I have a h...
