1874H-Crosslet 4
Just looking for some opinions on the grade of this 1874H Crosslet-4. Was also wondering if anyone knows where I might be able to find any examples online of the 4/4? I can't seem to find any. There's something that stands out under the 4 on this piece. The photos are from different angles under a 4...

Re: 1919 Five Cent
IMO, even though the large jewels and both bands are present, the overall area is too blurred for me to consider it better than VF20. It's not so much soft circulation wear as there are hard abbrations on the high points especially to George's face. I'm thinking that if this coin had been in circul...

Re: 1919 Five Cent
Technically it's probably a VF but if this were in my book I'd label it F-18 and call it a day. With no real problems, a couple months ago I might have made an offer on this coin-- It so happened that I replaced a dented rim 1919 for a relatively appealling F just to avoid upgrade anxiety. I'm sort...

1919 Five Cent
Hi All, Just trying to get some opinions on grade for this 1919 5 Cent. I was going to list it for sale, but then I noticed of the 7M 1919's minted, 6.9M of them are currently listed on eBay. Anyway, thanks for any and all opinions on this one. Steve http://www.coinsandcanada.com/forum/class/test/19...

Re: 1870 5 Cents -- Double Letters, Die Cracks/Breaks
Flat rim or raised rim? Yours is definately a flat (wide) rim/edge. The "raised-rim 1870" has short denticals and the width of the rim is much narrower than the "flat-rim". Nice coin you've found there Ace. I'd give it a VG-10. Cheers Cheers, Rod. That is the best description I'...

1870 5 Cents -- Double Letters, Die Cracks/Breaks
Saved this from the smelter. Don't know if this is a flat/wide/raised... rim or how that's determined though? Or what exactly it's called. Different publications call it different things. None seem to have photos. I'm going to take a stab and say VG(ish) wide rim. I'm pretty happy with it. I should ...

Awesomeness!! If you hadn't of replied, I probably would have thought I had about 20 of them. Hahahaha!!!
Happy New Year!
I'm 'celebrating' by cherry picking about $200 worth of Washington quarters. Haha

Re: Attn: Canadian Mace
I went looking for 'deals' tonight... I would encourage you to check out, right now (12-24-13... 10:12PM EST) the things in the queue in auctions ending. Especially large cents. Remarkably misleading. I have become a fish scale hunter... but have the general queue open. Let's 'reset', you and I, and...

I think that you should kick back and enjoy the holidays, rather than spew threats at me. There was no malice whatsoever in what I posted .. it was just my opinion and I've had 3 emails already thanking me for it from other members. Please get over it ... you were calling a G-6 coin as something wi...

Re: Attn: Canadian Mace
Mace ... If that is your 1858 large cent on Ebay that you describe as "Mint Luster" and "Uncleaned" for a G-6 coin, then you need to work on your grading, what a cleaned coin looks like and understanding what mint luster really is. If it's not your coin up, then forget my commen...

1949 A to Denticle -- Help needed
Hello all:
Just looking to see if there's a 1949 Penny pro out there...
Is this 'to the denticle' or 'off denticle? (Am I even looking at the right A?
Thanks,
Steve
