From what I know, the serials on this serie are easy to erase. As coinguy told, the only best way to sell it (if genuine), is to get it certified. Most buyers will need it authenticated for obvious reasons.

If I was in possession of one of them, it stay sealed.
You might get couple MS-66 and MS-65, but most of them will be certified MS-62 to MS-64.

You can sell them on Ebay for more than face.
Most dealers have hundreds of them and don't want to keep too much inventory these days.
They will always worth at least face value, even after Jan. 1. You will be able to return them to Bank of Canada anytime in the future.
