What other years have large single ear ring ?
2008 must have been a watershed year.
It was the last year for that particular reverse as well, 2009 saw the introduction of a new reverse, not just for cents but other denominations as well.

Re: Pl coin sets
I found pages and albums for PL sets were too heavy, floppy and awkward.
Like coinguy I found a box that was just the right size and am more than happy with it and glad to be rid of the clumsy albums.
BTW for the pre 1961 sets I have a very nice old Wayte-Raymond album, as there are too few for a box.

Re: PCGS graded 1967 Proof Dimes
There were no 1967 proof sets.
They are not proof strikes, they are specimen strikes that PCGS has decided to call proof strikes even though the mint did not have the technology to produce proof coins in 1967.

Supply and demand dictate value.
There is not always a correlation between rarity and value.
Some scarce varieties bring very little premium.
Besides PCGS and NGC don't list or attribute this variety.

Re: Offset Printing
Despite what you see on eBay there is no premium for a note like yours unless part of another note on the sheet is visible.
Most collectors seek out well centered notes.

Re: 2 Dollar Coin Extra Sail
These are listed on eBay for $129-$425
One actually sold for $129
One listed as extra sail sold for $5 but it was a misattributed normal sail type.
I'm surprised both ICCS and CCCS will grade these.
