You would be wasting your money to get it graded.
I have sold many of these in the $10 to $25 range.
Grading will cost approx $12 - $15.
Furthermore collectors prefer ungraded "Shin Plasters".

Re: 1987 proof set
If asking for help with respect to marks, errors, oddities, etc., it REALLY, REALLY helps if you post a picture of all that you are asking about.
Although we have some great, experienced and knowledgeable people on this site, it's hard to work blind with some things.
Please post a picture.

Re: 5$ bill 1987 #GOV315...
Sorry to disappoint you, however your $5 is only worth $5. The ones that are worth more money are ONLY the 20,000 banknotes with S/N's between 7180000-7200000. All other S/N's are basically worth $5.00. If possible, whenever you or anyone has a query about a banknote or coin please try to post a pic...

Re: 2007 Extra metal nickel
I agree with both Bill and Coinguy. This is post mint.
It's hard to tell from the pictures and I don't know if it is my imagination, however the blobs almost seem to have a dark greenish black edging.
It almost looks like a dark epoxy glue.
Just my 2 cents worth.

Re: 1954
Nice find. Based on the pictures the note appears to be an AU. It is not an uncirculated note, although some people would try and say it is. All 4 corners are not square. Charlton's list the value at $400, CoinsAndCanada have it at $500, however depending on who you may try to sell it too you will n...

Re: 1855 Zimmerman 5 dollar bank note
Details about the Zimmerman note are in Charlton's Canadian Bank Notes book. Page 546 0f the 8th Edition. This is the big book covering all the old Canadian Chartered Banks. The book sells for $99.95. NOTE: this is not the regular bank note book that sell around $35. Based on the information you pro...

Re: 1935 $100 French
Personally I would not bother to get it graded. The majority of collectors that I know and sell to prefer ungraded notes . I prefer ungraded. I am not sure what area you live in "coinme", however if you are in a major centre just take it to 2 or 3 dealers and ask their opinion. If you are ...

Re: 1935 $100 French
How nice to have. My dream is the 1935 ~ $500 in both French and English. Unfortunately the budget will never allow this privilege. Regardless of the book, I would think there would be at least a little bit of a premium even if the number is over 500. You may wish to contact Charlton's to ask if thi...

Re: fireproof box for coins and papers
Hi Joe100, I did search a few years back. One of the best that I found is: Sentry Safe Fire safe/Waterproof NOTE: a fire safes have different limitations. This one is good for it's size and cost. Model H2300 approx 15" x 14 1/2" x 7 1/2" exterior and approx 12 3/4" x 9 1/2" ...

Re: Books on Grading
I finally saw the book.
"Guide for Grading Coins of Canada" by Andre Langlois.
It is EXCELLENT.
I believe one the executive from our Calgary Club has talked to Andre about buying a number of the books for our club members.
Just hoping he does it soon.

Hi Dan, Thank you for trying to verify the details for me. Attached are 5 new photos. All of these are of a very high resolution. Hopefully one is good. If not I can go back to the original before I added the circle. Sorry for the delay. Thanks again. http://www.coinsandcanada.com/forum/class/test/D...
