Re: Gold coins 1912-1914
That is good advice...but I have already bought a lot of gold Canadian coins etc...Sadly, I have not read any books or had a mentor. Though, I have seen tons of youtube videos and read other peoples comments/advice and keep a close eye out on coins that interest me. So far I think I may have lost a ...

Re: canadian pennies
I have always liked collecting the cent (it is what I could afford lol). However, when they discontinued it...I saw that the market was being flooded with the " last cent coin rolls". Even though they made them out of different materials, I felt the big return for so many minted would take...

1912 to 1914 Canadian gold coins sold by the mint.
I have noticed a lot of stores who bought from the rcm the 1912 to 1914 Gold Canadian "hand selected" and "premium hand selected" coins and are selling on the secondary markets range in prices. I am not sure if my concern is unfounded. I do not believe their is any safe guard the...

Re: 1912 $5 gold Canadian coin
It was CAD...I know sometimes I can get a better deal with a little more work, but sometimes I just can not make it to places. I intent to go to the Toronto expo you mentioned though and bring sufficient cash so if I see something (s), I can get it (them).

1912 $5 gold Canadian coin
So I just ordered a pcgs graded AU55 1912 gold coin for $470 plus tax and shipping. Does anyone have any thoughts about the wholesale or retail market for this purchase? I think I will like it once I see it. I am hesitant to buy from ebay, and prefer well known stores that give deals. I think it onl...

1912 to 1914 gold Canadian coins
I am interested in buying a certified graded MS62 or better 1912 1913 and 1914 gold Canadian $5 or $10 coin preferably by pcgs at a reasonable price. I am not interested in retail because I can buy retail at a store. I have an 1914 $10 MS63 PCGS gold coin I would be willing to trade up for.
