The Candian price guide on this site

Post by PrestigeNumismatics » Mon Aug 30, 2010 2:57 pm

Hi,

I was just wondering if the price guide on this site had typing errors?
I was looking at some of the 1953- dollars and halves and the price jumps up a lot in MS65.

http://coinsandcanada.com/coins-prices.php?canadian_coins=1-dollar-1953-2010

I thought I'd won some bargains on ebay when I won:
1959 CANADA $1 PCGS PL66 (CAMEO)
1961 CANADA $1 PCGS PL66 (CAMEO)
1962 CANADA 50 CENTS PCGS PL66 (DEEP CAMEO)

I then found the ebay price searcher and after checking the ebay price searcher:
http://www.coinsandcanada.com/coins-ebay-prices.php?denomination=7&date=1959&Envoyer=Rechercher

I noticed they weren't the bargains I thought they were? :?:

I'm still happy with the coins though but was wondering why the guide prices are so high?

PCGS coins usually worth less than ICCS.

Okay thanks. Maybe I should be sending any future Canadian coins to ICCS.
