1957 ERII ribbon,knot,laurel leaves separated?

Post by Hot Brass » Sat Apr 20, 2013 10:00 am

I just aquired this 1957 ERII dollar and after looking at with my loupe,it looks like the ribbon, knot and laurel leaves are separated, whereas my other ERII coins show they are all connected.Doesn't seem to be much wear at that particular spot which would suggest this separation. Is there another variety out there that's not in my books?
This pic does not show this too well! Any ideas? Thanks,Hot Brass
