Green mold on copper coims

Hi, I was recently given $13 of relatively new cents (1960's to 2011). Most of them have green mold spots or major cases of the copper mold.

How do I get rid (clean up) this contamination. Does anyone have a home brew that will
stop the deterioration of the coins.

Thanx in advance

David

If it's soft, then acetone. If hard, there is nothing you can do as it has chemically corroded the metal.
