Manitoba coin

Hi I'm new to this so if I make an error please bare with me, anyways I was going threw some things left to me from a grandparent finding a coin saying on one side say's Manitoba gold on the other side a native with head dress and a date of 1926 would anyone be able to give me any details on it

Can't help too much.
All I can tell you is that it is not a coin.
Probably some sort of commemorative medallion.
If you could show pictures, there might be someone
here that would recognize it and give more info.
