due to some unexpected expenses coming up, thats ok its the thrill of the hunt that keeps me going.
My latest coin adventure is building a Canada 5 cent silver collection.

Canadian silver 5 cent collection
Re: Canadian silver 5 cent collection
Hello! Well I don't have a "collection" yet. BUt I do have a 1944 steel nickel with the 44 showing some doubling.
Sorry to hear about you having to sell some of your collection.

Sorry freegirl, but that is not a Doubled Die or even Machine Doubling.
Looks like the tip of the 4 has taken a hit and flattened it out slightly.

Re: Canadian silver 5 cent collection
I have a Lighthouse 1858-date Canadian 5 cent album. It is the best one I have found
The odd thing is I have found two silver five cent Canadian coins in coin counters in the United States in the last two years.

I got it at my coin shop in Medford Oregon. They had a 1921 silver but that’s more than I could spend. See http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25728&hilit=+1921
