why coins?

Post by JNOD » Thu Nov 14, 2019 8:46 am

A friend asked me why I was interested in coins recently. I was sort of pleased with my answer:

1. I find them beautiful....
2. It's interesting to hunt for rarities
3. They have a way of making time tangible. I have a little bolus of highish grade pennies that run through the Boer war and that's about how I think about them. In their historical context.

Other thoughts out there?
