The 1965 and 1966 are .800 silver. 1967 has both .500 and .800 silver. Both weigh 5.83 grams new. With a coin with no wear, you can calculate what the scrap value. For all Canadian .800 silver coins, there is .6 oz of Ag for every $1 face, so 4 of the 1965 or 66 quarters would be .6 oz times the current silver value. If silver was at $33.33 an ouce, your 4 quarters would be worth $20. Most dealers will be you 85% or so of scrap at a coin show for worn coins and up to 95% for AU/UNC's. People that handle alot of 66-68 silver 1967 10 & 25 cent pieces can tell by looking at the color whether they are .500 or .800 and the patina is a little different shade as well. Some people can tell by the different sound of the ring it makes when dropped on a hard surface. All I can tell you is to practice.
