Canadian penny weights ???

Hi members,

Is it normal for canadian penny weight 2.2g and 3.4g???
I have number of Canadian pennies with 2.2g & 3.4g.
Any quidance will be very appreciated.

It depends on the year.
Canadian CENTS ( Pennies are from the UK) can weigh 3.24g, 2.8g, 2.5g, 2.25g, 2.35g
plus the mint tolerance for each one so there is quite a variance.
Also if you are weighing coins, they should be weighed to a minimum of two decimal points.
