Canadian Tokens?
I found these two coins while going through a huge collection I have inherited. Does anyone know any additional background on what these are and what they may be worth? More importantly, is it worth anything to any of you?

Re: Canadian Tokens?
These are Province of Canada, semi-regal tokens.... in this case, Front View Tokens. They were made in 1842, 44, & 45. There are a number of vareieties, depending on how tall the trees are to the side and whether the beaver has a long or short nose. There are very similar tokens with "City Bank" on the ribbon instead of Bank of Montreal. Your half penny looks to be a long-nose, but it's hard to tell from the scan/wear. The penny is short nose, I think. Your half penny looks to be medium trees, while the penny is short trees. Both are common in this grade, with the half penny worth about $15 in F condition and the penny worth about $10 .. those are full-retail, book prices.
