Churchill Commemorative Coin
Churchill Commemorative Coin
I've inherited a coin that is about the size of a silver dollar. It is dated 1965 and has Sir Winston Churchill on one side with large type CHURCHILL and a young Elizabeth on the other side surrounded by Elizabeth II Dei Gratia Regina F.D. 1965. Can anyone tell me what this is and does it have any value?
Re: Churchill Commemorative Coin
The Churchill Commemorative is from Great Britain and is a a legal tender 5 shilling coin.
Value like any other coin depends on condition.
If circulated, not much over face value.
In MS condition, maybe $10.00 if you can find a buyer.
