Post by Cintanie » Mon Jul 24, 2023 6:42 pm

Silver colored 1976 Canadian penny, any info on this sort of coins? How to know if it's an error coin, or how to know whst kind of metal it's made from?
Any info would be great, i can't find anything on it!
Thanks 😊

It's been plated in a science lab or garage. It also looks like there is glue residue from where it was removed from something. It has no value.

Welcome to the forum

Agree with the above.
I once gave my granddaughter a set that had been plated in silver, gold, pink and blue.
These were also plated in high school science classes. Technically they are classed as damaged.
