Can't help you, as this is a Canadian forum, but I'd say that the sets are very common and inexpensive. The best way to find out is to go to Ebay and key in UK or British set .... using the title on the top of your holders (or the important part/words, including the date). Once your search comes up, you will have many many to choose from, as to what's for actual "sale". On the upper right, you will see a box/link for "advanced" .. click on that and search for the items "sold". That will give you a good idea of what they are actually worth and not what some dealer is asking. I wouldn't expect much.

The Brit coins look like abl=out $4.50 to 6.00 for each set that actually sold. You should keep them or give them to a young kid to peak their interest in coinage.

Agree with Bill on the value.
I bought three sets as a gift for $20.00
which works out to under $7.00 set
