2005 Penny missing edge

Post by BlackDragon24 » Thu Mar 25, 2010 3:37 pm

I was going through my change that I won at the family reunion last year and found a 2005 penny with no edge on it and the font is different then the regular pennies. I'll have to get a good picture to post but any idea what it could be worth?

You will need to post images here. Too many possibilities otherwise...

That looks like what happens when you put a cent into one of the "lucky penny" horseshoes or similar surrounding collar. Not a mint error.
