Can someone tell me what we are looking at here? Thanks.
Look like it came from an encased coin, at one time, or whats known as a lucky penny !!
Its not a dryer coin, thats for sure !!!
All I can come up with is a "machine-shop" penny where it's cut in half, usually so you have a 2-headed or 2-tailed coin. Now it's all done with lasers, so maybe that's it and why it's discolored in the "oreo center"

I Emailed Mike Diamond past president of CONECA and got this back.
It certainly didn't leave the mint looking that way.
