Came across this one this week, quite dramatic.

Still learning how do you know that it came from the mint that way? And how do you tell if it’s post mint damage?

Hard to tell. Not sure if it really add value to the coin either. Tbh, I'm not buying these kind of errors since they can be homemade.

After handling a few million coins, you have a tendency to know the manufactured ones from a serious error. You also have to look at the whole coin, not just the damage. People like to collect errors as you never know how it happened sometimes. Enjoy the scan.

Definitely an error and one of a kind. Never seen a Ragged Fissure that shape. Nice find.
