Two potential Errors

Post by ianmcdz » Thu Mar 19, 2020 9:49 am

Hello, first time posting here... I've been having some fun going through my old coins looking for errors. Found a few cool ones, but also a few that I'm unsure of.

One is a 1944 penny with possible planchet flaw or, possibly just damage.
The other i'm unsure of is a crack on the bottom of the bust of a 1956 penny.

Let me know what you think... and stay safe... don't hoard too much toilet paper....

ok working to figure out the picture thing now ... 1KNvOiJYX0 ... lH8FWZseS4 ... BNKVd4jDfI ... 3s_pEvSZbA ... x9SU4v8nXA

The 1944 is just heavily damaged. Don't see any errors.
The 1956 looks like it may have a slight lamination.
In the future, please post pictures of the full coin instead of in sections.
It makes it easier to diagnose.
