1961 penny cracks
On the obverse of this coin, there is a tremendous amount of cracking. Any information would be great.

Please show a complete photo of both sides of the coin. Can’t really say from those photos.

Much better photos.
It looks like it has been coated with something (varnish?) that has cracked.
Whatever it is it happened after it left the mint so it is considered damage.
