1979 double date with doubling on obverse

Lots of doubling and what looks like stretched plating or something? Example can be seen by Queens shoulder and by the legend

Same as your 1944 cent, that is Machine Doubling.

I agree MD. If you blow up a photo large enough, you'll see all these items that are really just within normal tolerance but not 100% tru. Not and error ov variety or DP.
