Mintage error??

Just wondering what might have caused this? The 5 in 2005 is there but not.

It is not an error and has nothing to do with mintage.
It has taken a hit from something.
You can see where the metal has been pushed aside.
It's called PMD. (Post Mint Damage)

not PMD but doesn't really add value to the coin. looks like planchet flaw.
