This came added in an auction lot of Large Cents that yielded nothing exciting. I don't really collect these errors but I know a keeper when I see it. I am enjoying revisiting the hobby after a long time away (much has changed). I assume this is some out-of-collar strike? Hope the pictures are OK, just wanted to share it.

Welcome to the forum

Correct, it is an out of collar strike. Easy to tell by the larger diameter.

Thanks all for your replies. The website is an amazing resource, I had not seen the folder on broadstrike errors. As a keen young collector, some forty years ago, I would have feasted on the wealth of knowledge one can find here.
