1954 nickel
.22 lighter than it is supposed to be is that within tolerance? Any advice would be greatly welcomed

I think the tolerance is .18g so the minimum should be 4.36g
Yours is only .05g underweight which could be attributed to wear
or perhaps your scale is slightly out. In either case, unless a coin
is about 1g out of tolerance, there is not much interest in it.
