Does this 1928 10¢ have a die crack or is this an example of PMD? Could this be done intentionally? Damage is only on the reverse.

A die crack would appear as an exclusion not an intrusion...

at the 1 o'clock point of the top crown on the reverse it does look like there's a die crack.

The long large crack down the reverse would need a bit deeper investigation... it could be a scratch or it could be a strike through wire or planchet flaw. The photo would have to be enlarged to see where raised parts meet the fields and see the "crack" in question

Because it passes through both the design and the field, I think that it is definitely a scratch. However, where it starts on the top, It appears to go through the rim. A die crack would be a protrusion rather than an incuse mark below the surface. A strike through very seldom will show in the dsesign or lettering, since those are incuse areas of the die.
