NFLD 1888 20 Cents

Below are images of the last two digits of 3 different varieties of Newfoundland 1888 20 Cents coin. In the first image, doubling can be seen in both digits. In the second image, doubling can be seen in the last digit. In the last image, there does not appear to be any doubling. The 8's in the last two images are bold compared to the 8's in the first image.

The last one seems to be a worn version of the second repunched type. IMHO

You are probably correct on this. On close examination of the 2nd Wide 88, there seems to be the remnants of the same doubling at the base of the 8. Only 75,000 coins were minted for this date, with at least 2 different reverse dies used, and perhaps as many as 4 or so.
