This coin has wear, but what intrigues me is the excess metal on the edge of the rim, the duplications in some letters ( in my opinion) and in other designs on the coin. If you could give your opinion. Thank you.

Except for a slight Misaligned Die, I don’t see anything that can’t be attributed to
circulation wear and damage. Duplicate letters simply cannot appear during the minting of a coin.

Excuse me, if you could explain. Why the duplicate letters can't appear during minting, and the excess metal on the rim?

It's hard to tell from the photos due to clarity/lighting/shadows, but I see no "duplication? of letters. If you mean "doubling" where there is a slight shadow or copy of the letter/digit, it may be due to what we call a minor error. It could be caused by machine or mechanical doubling, where the die comes slightly loose in the holder and leaves a faint "shadow", or it could be just straight die-deterioration doubling where a tired die has had the normally crisp edges of the die wear away. Neither adds anything to the value of the coin, which is well worn. Now the die goes look like it was slightly misaligned so it did not strike the planchet dead-center and left a little metal on the edge. That slight misalignment may also have contributed to the minor MD explaind above.
