There were sets produced by the Mint in Winnipeg. But I don't know if the W appears on these coins.

There was a 2000W 50c piece produced .
It appears only in some of the 7 coin BU sets.
Some sets were produced without the "W" on the coins.
It was not produced for circulation so if you have one, it was broken out of a set.
