I found a 1966 Canadian Dollar Obverse Double Die

Postby City Slicker » Mon Sep 19, 2011 4:14 pm

Can anyone tell me if this is a known variety? I've been unable to find any variety info on the 1966 dollar other than small bead vs. large bead.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All of the letters of REGINA have pretty strong doubling, letters of ELIZABETH II have doubling, but is a little lighter....it actually almost looks like it is tripled in some places, and the back of the hair, neck and shoulder show some doubling.
