1919 Canadian Penny - MS63

Post by Loyalist » Sat Mar 29, 2014 10:30 am

Would anyone care to check out the link and let me know if this is what he says it is. I know the price is excessive, even your trending puts it at approx 60.00 if a true MS63.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

The photos are not good enough to tell, but he is asking way too much. I see red flags all over this with the photos.

Thanks for the input Bill really appreciate it, I will stay away from any more of his listing. I don't need a 1919 but on the look out for a VF 1907H or just 1907. He originally had it at 750.00, sent him an email asking if it was a type O. This was the reply I got.

"Hi thank you for pointing that out, yes it should have read 250.00, I know ICCS will not grade past MS63 on a brown, but this coin is full MS with zero circulation and beautiful strong strike, there is not a flat spot on the coin except the fields, hence my pricing. In red it would probably be MS67 at least and that would bring I'm sure a close to 600 to 700 or perhaps more."

I can't see it going MS63...but I guess he's free to ask how much he wants, although those types usually die holding onto their dreams(and coins). A better one will come along for a lot less, best to pass.
