If you click on the IMG button and then put the link in the middle you can post the photo in the thread.

VF range would be my grade... probably 20-25

May be just the angle of the picture but I don't see any details in the hair below the crown..

At the highest portion of the design (the vertical beads in the crown) I see some wear but the beads are still distinct. I think that it's just the light or a weak strike that the hair appears gone. I'd say XF just from the beads.

LIghtwire:

I think there's two different coins being discussed here..... although one could argue the answer would most likely be the same....

In one thread you see a picture of one whole coin and a partial of a coin to the right.... in the other thread you see a picture of one whole coin and a partial of a coin to the left....

I think the OP took two pics of these two coins side by side... if you look they are in fact two different coins....

I know my answer would remain almost the same... VF as I see no detail in the hair... and Bill would say this is EF as you can see the "pearls" of the crown clearly and this is just a weak strike... :Étudiant:

Which makes me think of a question.... there is no doubt I would totally agree with Bill's assessment that the coin would be EF but weak strike...

But what kind of money would you pay for a coin like this ?

Would you pay EF money... for a coin that's EF but weak strike? Or would you pay VF money ?
